Muslim Solutions Network Website Redesign

Muslim Solutions Network | UI Designer | 2023 - 2024 | 2 Minute Read
The redesigned home screen on both desktop and mobile

Building Bridges, Solving Problems.

Goals:

• As the company grew, it was time for a visual rebrand. The original website highlighted our mission to “connect,” but we wanted to showcase the tech side of the company as well. The logo was redesigned by another team member, so it won’t be featured here, though I ultimately approved the final look.

Goals:

• Create a new colour palette and font pairing to align with the updated logo.

• Refresh website visuals and messaging to better reflect the organization’s mission and vision.

Goals:

• I led the design of the website layout and UI components, collaborated with our Marketing Director Shay on branding decisions, and worked closely with developers to bring the site to life.

Research

The wireframe and user flow of the original website. I wanted the new design to follow this closely to retain the content we already had. The plan was only to update the visuals.

Also, a quick look at how the website appeared on different screen dimensions.

Design

The style guide for our new logo, which the new website was built around. The structure of the logo was designed by another talented member of our team, while I finalized the colour palette and fonts.

Tools:

Figma (primary) and Adobe Photoshop.
